As much as I like the weekends, they can really draw the life out of you. With one fun-filled, action-packed event after an other, my weekends are usually crammed to the rim.
...Love the way that sounds, “Crammed to the rim.” Sounds dirty somehow.
Anyway, as I was saying. My weekend was packed again. On Friday, two of my buddies came over to see the house. My first buddies to see it besides of MirrorImage, who helped with the paintjob.
...“What is a Paintjob? Well, that’s when you’re crammed to the rim!”
Sorry about that, I seem to have an overactive imagination today.
Back to the story. BirthdayBoy and MuscleMan came to help move some furniture around and they loved the house. An actual quote from MuscleMan: “Holy shit, it’s like… a real house!”. Well duh, buddy. That’s why they call it “a house”. ^o^.
“I’m so crammed to the rim. I could really use a paintjob.”
Oops, they I go again, sorry, it’s the three double espresso’s I had this morning talking. I move on to tea now.
But I was telling you about the weekend. On Saturday, we had this huge cruise-ship theme-party thrown by LoveLife’s new boss, which was quite fun. ‘t Was in one of those huge party-centres. It was furnished to have an Irish pub, a western salloon, a pirate’s cove and many other theme stuff. One drawback, though. You could draught your own beer. Gimme a break, the one night LoveLife and I don’t have to work bar-shifts… Those with no bar experience seemed to like doing it though.
...“Tonight on Jenny Jones… ‘You’re so crammed to the rim, maybe a paintjob will return your vim!”
*blink, blink* Where am I?
Sorry about that. So then, the in-laws themed Sunday came. Both my and Lovelife’s in laws came over for dinner.
Oh the horror, I think they like each other.
So that brings us back to Monday morning. Monday means dartsnight. I’m hoping it’ll be a funnight this time, since my parents will come to see me and my brother play darts for the first time since ages. I don’t want a scene, I don’t want a-cussing team-mates. I just want fun, fun, fun.
"You’ll all have fun dammit! And I’ll have no arguments about it either!! Enjoy yourself NOW, or I’ll smack you silly!!! I'm cram your rim so hard, you'll be screaming for a paintjob!!!!"
